Suspended Access Systems Ltd successfully delivered a replacement fall protection solution for a client in Birmingham across their multiple roof levels. We replaced damaged, non-compliant systems with fully certified SFS Sotter II safety wire systems. Our scope included designing and installing systems to facilitate safe access for roof and façade maintenance. Due to strict access limitations, all works were carefully coordinated using a 33m truck-mounted MEWP and were carried out over weekends to minimize disruption to building occupants.

Our installation focused on fall restraint methods, using dual 1.5m fall arrest lanyards to ensure operatives could safely access gutters and roof perimeters while maintaining full compliance with EN standards. All components were positioned at least 2 meters from fall potentials, aligned with risk hierarchy best practices.
