Our experienced engineers conducted detailed inspections in line with BS 8610:2017 and BS 7883:2019 standards, identifying key areas for improvement and ensuring safety-critical systems were fully assessed.
Scope Of Works:
- Full inspection of all personal fall protection wire systems on the roof, uncovering multiple non-compliant end terminations. These were identified as requiring immediate remedial works to meet manufacturer and industry standards.
- Visual and mechanical testing of abseil rails, anchor plates, and deviation jibs across the 7th, 9th floors, and main roof areas – all of which passed stringent 6kN pull tests and visual assessments.
- Provision of clear defect reporting, guidance on dual inspection regimes, and costed proposals for remedial actions to bring all systems into compliance.
