Fall Protection

Safety Wire Systems

Safety wire systems market, originally bought to the UK by Latchways under their ‘Mansafe Systems’ in the 80’s has seen a rapid growth over the last 20 years to include more than 9 different manufacturers. These systems are designed to enable up to 4 operatives the ability for continues transfer across a roof area in either fall restraint or fall arrest without the requirements to disconnect.

During the rapid growth of this section of the fall protection market, we have ensured to become compliant as an installer/inspector/repairer of these systems to enable us to remain compliant under BS 8681 that ensures we can service all systems currently on the UK market.

PPE Eyebolts / Pushlock Eyebolts

Single fixed PPE points offer the ability for a single user to access an exposed fall potential either under fall restraint or fall arrest. PPE eyebolts and pushlocks are commonly found used as an internal anchorage point for window cleaners to access and clean the onsite windows however they can be used for both external and internal use cases. Whilst PPE eyebolts protrude from the substrate, a Pushlock eyebolt offers a more discreet design should the end client want a more subtle integration of a fall protection system in line with office/building design

Freestanding Harness Posts

The utilisation of a freestanding system overcomes the requirement for any roof/substrate penetration and operates based solely on the units own self weight as the method of counteracting a fall force. These styles of units are commonly used either for a short duration works where specific area access is required where there is no permanent method of fall protection, or where site wish to not undertake the roof substrate exposure and penetration to enable a fixed anchorage to occur. Freestanding harness posts also offer the ability to have a safety wire system mounted off them to expand the access availability.

Rigid Rail Systems

Rigid rail systems offer a similar access method to the safety wire systems, whilst offering an upgraded seamless transfer whilst also enabling the dual use for possible rope access off the same system.
